Today, developing a strong synergy between the shipyard and its technology partners is essential in order for research and innovation to effectively turn into solutions capable of producing practical advantages in terms of technology and market presence.
It was exactly this type of synergy between a shipyard, such as Benetti, which has been active on the frontline of innovation, research and technological development, and highly specialized partners, like Altraluce, Yachtica and Nextworks, which made the production of a new RGB White LED lighting system possible. The project was exclusively created for a single model in the Delfino 93’.
A completely experimental project that uses led technology, on which the shipyard is quite focused.
Altraluce has created innovative LED lights which integrate white and RGB channels in a single track allowing one to explore the infinite shades of white and color.
Yachtica has designed and produced the exclusive electronic control system to manage, control and dim this type of illumination.
Meanwhile, Nextworks has developed the system which allows the integrated control of all on board domotic devices.
The benefits of this new and exclusive system are clear. Starting with the comfort of the passengers. The bright white light and rich saturated colours generated by the RGB White system don’t emit much heat in form of ultraviolet or infrared rays, therefore providing the highest comfort for those living under those lights.
Another important aspect is that these are times that demand that we pay attention to ecology. LED lights assure an almost 70% energy savings compared to incandescent lights.
If we also take into consideration that LED lights last longer than incandescent lights especially where they are subject to mechanical stress, we can fully comprhend the advantages that this type of technology brings with it not only in terms of functional assets but also of electric expenses.
